Novitiate Entry of C.J. Neumann

Join us on December 7th, 2024 at 5:20 PM for Vespers.

At the Abbey, the novitiate is a time of profound transformation, where young men like CJ Neumann begin their journey of deeper prayer, study, and discernment in the Benedictine way of life. Your prayers, messages of support, and acts of kindness give CJ the encouragement he needs to embrace this important calling.

Whether you have known CJ since before he began this journey, have gotten to know him since, or simply want to express your gratitude to a young man pursuing this path, we invite you to submit your well wishes to CJ using the form below. We will pass along your thoughts to him as he embarks on this next stage of his formation as a monk.

Fr. Daniel McCarthy, OSB of the abbey will present a pictorial tour of churches in Rome, England and nearby and reveal their meaning during a retreat to be held at St. Benedict’s Abbey from Friday evening through Sunday lunch on Labor Day weekend 1-3 September 2023.
